Italian mobility – Bernalda

Saturday, 14th May, 2022 - Our journey starts from Bari, Italy, the location where we got off of the

plane. The aiport’s name was very interesting since it was named after our Pope - Karol Wojtyła, besides that, we have explored some parts of that town and then taken a train to our destination - Bernalda.

Monday, 16th May - We gathered around with students who are in the "SPOT and STOP Emotional

School Dropout" project from many other countries in the lecturing hall of the Comprehensive School

"Pythagoras". Later, we had played many intergrative games with the students, and then we had seen a presentation made by the Italian youth within the Festival Of Art And Creativity.

Tuesday, 17th May - The teachers were having a conference regarding ESDO, while we were thinking

up and discussing the possible causes of school dropouts, later we watched a presentation

prepared before the mobility about this day's topic. After hours of intense work, we had some free time singing and dancing!

Wednesday, 18th May – After two exhausting days, on Wendesday we went on a trip to both towns that are on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list - Matera and Alberobello. It was fantastic!!

Thursday, 19th May – Next day we went on a cruise on the Ionian sea, and then tried canoeing and stand up paddling, wow!  Later we explored Metaponto, a town founded in the late 7th century.

Friday, 20th May - We finished our last day in school by summing up the project and being given

certificates. All good things must come to an end....

Saturday, 21st May – We flew back to Poland with fantastic memories in our minds…
